SDC (Summer Drama Camp) has been described by campers and staff as a special, magical place. The camps serve as a playground where the worlds of art, recreation, and the outdoors collide. Hosted by YMCA Camp Loma Mar (August), and Camp Sempervirens (July), Summer Drama Camp is nestled in the beautiful Redwood Forest between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay, just off the coast in sunny California. The camps boast acres of pristine wilderness, full bathroom facilities, including showers, a restaurant quality kitchen, outdoor amphitheater, campfire area with a stage, swimming pool, sports field, miles of hiking trails, and more. Both camps are accredited through the American Camping Association having exceeded the more than 300 stringent standards in the categories of health, safety, staffing, training, programming, and transportation.
